The Weather Looks Perfect for Tomorrow's Post 321 Work Day!
The current forecast for tomorrow is nearly perfect and it's not too late to make plans join us tomorrow afternoon, April 13, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM for our next Post 321 "Work Day."
Taking advantage of the great weather tomorrow, we plan to:
Conduct our second clean-up of our adopted section of Main Street (from Huntersville-Concord Rd to Bigham St)
Weed and apply herbicide to the back patio and perimeter of the building
Sweep, vacuum and dust the meeting room
Clean the front cooler in the canteen
Other tasks as time and volunteer-power permits
Upon completion of our work, the Commander has committed to buying all volunteers a cool, refreshing beverage (or two) in the Post canteen! Because, in the words of that great 20th-century American Philosopher, Andy Dufresne: "I think a man working outdoors feels more like a man if he can have a bottle of suds. That's only my opinion."
